​We are very pleased to say that the work at the orchard is now mostly completed. Whilst there will always be more to do and maintain, we believe that we have established a framework which will support growing fruit and vegetables and make them FREELY available to all local families. The fruit trees will continue to mature into the future and hopefully reduce the need for replacement.

We will be hosting an Official Opening event on 20th July, to celebrate the work we have done, what we have achieved and to show our appreciation to all those who have helped and supported us. It will be an opportunity to find out more about the orchard's aims, its history and how it fits into a bigger picture for the future.

The official opening will start at 2.30pm at the Orchard. Everyone is encouraged to bring a chair/blanket with their own picnic food. There will be a few short speeches and then some fun activities for the children to do. All the produce ready to harvest will be available to take away and we will have lots of information about forthcoming events and other things you can join in with.

The Group hopes very much that you will come along, say hello, Wassail the trees and have some fun.
