Stanley Resident’s Group organise community Litter Picks at various times in the year and publish dates here on the website and on our Facebook page, along with our banner and on the noticeboard in the centre of the village. We take pride in trying to keep Stanley free from litter and a lovely place to live.​​​

The Great Sunflower Giveaway​

​We will be giving away planting packs of Sunflower seeds once again for families in Stanley to grow at home and make the village look beautiful. ​​

The Community Orchard is located on Mount Road, Stanley. Come along to see and celebrate what local volunteers have achieved, and learn more about the project. There will be fun activities for children. Bring a picnic!
