Free Stanley Youth Club, Fridays in term time 4pm-6pm

at St Peter's Church

Fun games, crafts and activities for 7-11 year olds. Indoor and outdoor. Open to all.

Contact 01924 265 637 to register. Spaces are limited. If demand is high, places are offered on a rotational basis (e.g. taking turns over different weeks).

 

The Stanley Youth Club arose when locals grew concerned about some anti-social behaviour. We wanted young people to have something positive to do and help them feel connected to their community. We successfully applied for National Lottery funding and worked in collaboration with the Mid Yorkshire Community Foundation to deliver a youth club run by trained and qualified coaches. St Peter's Church bravely stepped in to offer their space to host the club when we could find nowhere else. It has turned out to be a great success for over 2 years.

Current funding comes to an end in May and the Youth Club will be paused while we seek further funding.
